The Roomba itself was quite good for mid week vacuum(s) but is no subsistute for a regular vacuum cleaner since it doesn’t suck enough.

To use the Roomba effectively you need the cleaning area ‘Roomba Friendly’, i.e., removing anything that would get the robot stuck. Later versions could return to a docking station when its battery power was low and recharge itself, which was pretty cool, especially to watch.

The Roomba was fun to have before it died, and I did find it useful, overall.
